PREPARING TO GET YOUR L PLATES
If you are 16 years or older you can apply for your Learners Permit.

Before you apply you should read the Drive Safe handbook to learn the Road Rules. This book
is available free from all Licensing Centres. Then, go to the Licensing website and take the
THEORY TEST SAMPLE QUIZ.

Remember to take your proof of identification with you to Licensing when applying for your Learner's Permit. You must provide primary and secondary original documents (no photocopies). For more information on getting your L plates visit the LICENSING WEBSITE.

HAZARD PERCEPTION TEST SIMULATION
If you have completed your 25 hours in your log book and it has been at least 6 months since you passed your Practical Driving Assessment, you are now ready to practice the Hazard Perception Test Simulation.

The simulation will give you an idea of the skills you need to take the real Hazard Perception Test at Licensing. The link below will take you to the Licensing HPT simulation.
